The above quote has become a guiding principle for me on how to treat everyone with kindness and compassion regardless of their sexual orientation.

Although there are differing opinions within Christianity on the LGBTQ+ community’s acceptance, it is essential not to judge but rather lead by example through actions based on positivity and inclusivity. We should embrace people who identify as part of this group instead of shunning them away.

“Judge not lest ye be judged.” – Bible Verse (Matthew 7:1)

This verse reminds us not to be critical or judgmental when dealing with other people’s lives or issues. Christians need always to show empathy towards those struggling with sexuality challenges irrespective of societal norms such individuals’ face.

We must also educate ourselves better on matters concerning gender expression, sexual identities and continue learning more ways we can foster healthy relationships among diverse groups of people irrespective of their background orientations or sex.

To be a true Christian means treating everyone equally without prejudice according to the principles taught by Jesus Christ. Practising values such as unconditional love, humility, prayerfulness leading by positive examples speak volumes than condemning others perceived wrongs. What this means is recognizing that every individual deserves being treated both lovingly as well as extra special according to Matthew 22:37-40 “Love the Lord your God with all your heart… Love your neighbor as yourself.”
